As the name implies Failed Back Surgery Syndrome is the condition that arises after a patient has had a spinal surgery that has either A) Not resolved their symptoms or B) Caused additional symptoms that did not exist prior to surgery. Chronic pain that exists after surgical intervention can leave patients feeling as if they have no hope. In many cases, there will be treatment options available, however, it most always requires thorough clinical evaluation to determine the best course of action.

Chronic pain that has persisted for at least 6 months following prior surgical interventional
Pain consistent with symptoms that existed prior to surgery and/or new symptoms that developed following surgery
